Christian Schneider holds his own in the competition year of the German Crafts.

The future comes from skill – this is the motto under which more than 3,000 young craftsmen have started the 68th competition year of the German Crafts. The aim: to show their professional excellence, their passion for their craft and their skills in the competition.

Nominated for the competition were the best graduates of the journeyman’s examination at guild level, who then competed in the chamber competition to qualify for the state competitions. The best from the four chambers of skilled crafts in the country took part.

Each state sent its state winners, who had to solve various problems from everyday workshop life all day long and under time pressure. Christian Schneider, who completed his apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician at Rinaldi Racing in 2019, competed for Rhineland-Palatinate.

In the end, Christian Schneider was able to hold his own against his competitors and was crowned the best automotive mechatronics technician in Germany.

Congratulations!
