The 2023 season was a year full of diverse engagements and valuable experiences for Rinaldi Racing, during which the team once again demonstrated its versatility. Across multiple international racing platforms, Rinaldi Racing showed commitment, consistency, and a high level of professionalism.

In the Asian Le Mans Series, the team competed in the LMP3 category. While victories were not achieved, Rinaldi Racing secured two pole positions in the LMP3 class and also claimed a podium finish.

Following the Asian Le Mans Series, Rinaldi Racing made its debut in the European Le Mans Series in the LMP3 class. Together with WTM by Rinaldi, the team ran a Duqueine D08 and continued its systematic development. The season was highly successful: podium finishes were achieved at Paul Ricard and Aragón, and a victory at the 4 Hours of Algarve in Portimão marked a standout highlight. These performances led to a third-place finish in the ELMS LMP3 Team and Drivers Championship – an impressive result for the team’s first season in the series.

Rinaldi Racing also maintained a strong presence in the GT World Challenge Europe. In the ProAm category, the team partnered with Samantha Tan Racing, securing a victory in Barcelona as well as additional podium finishes at Paul Ricard and Nürburgring, all within the ProAm classification. During the season, the team transitioned from the Ferrari 488 GT3 to the Ferrari 296 GT3, highlighting its competitiveness and adaptability on the international stage.

In the 24H Series, Rinaldi Racing once again competed in collaboration with WTM Racing. At the 12 Hours of Estoril, the team claimed pole position and overall victory in both the qualifying race and the main event.

Another season highlight was the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, a race of particular historical significance for Rinaldi Racing. In close collaboration with Frikadelli Racing, the team played a decisive role in achieving the overall victory. Additionally, Rinaldi Racing secured the win in the ProAm class, once again demonstrating its strength in endurance racing. This achievement was not only a major sporting success but also one of the most important milestones in the history of Rinaldi Racing, showcasing the team’s ability to compete at the highest level in one of the most demanding endurance events and contribute decisively to the overall outcome.

The team’s debut in the newly established Prototype Cup Germany rounded out the season. Rinaldi Racing delivered strong performances from the start, achieving multiple overall wins and podium finishes at Hockenheim, Oschersleben, Zandvoort, Norisring, Assen, and Nürburgring, consolidating its position as one of Germany’s leading LMP3 teams.

Rinaldi Racing also continued its involvement in historic motorsport, including the Endurance Racing Legends organised by Peter Auto. At events such as the Le Mans Classic and the Dix Mille Tours at the Paul Ricard Circuit, the team achieved victories and podium finishes, demonstrating the breadth of its motorsport expertise.

Overall, 2023 was a year in which Rinaldi Racing successfully expanded its presence across multiple platforms, gained valuable experience, and laid the foundation for future achievements. The team once again proved its ability to adapt to different series, cars, and challenges while remaining consistently competitive on track.
