A Dynamic Year Full of Valuable Experiences
The 2024 season was a versatile year for Rinaldi Racing, during which the team was active across numerous racing platforms, making significant sporting and organisational contributions.
The season began strongly during the winter, as Rinaldi Racing took part in the Prototype Winter Series and the GT Winter Series in Estoril and Portimão. The team gained valuable experience, secured several pole positions in the prototype category, and delivered well-considered results that provided a solid foundation for the rest of the season.
Following the winter events, Rinaldi Racing focused on the European Le Mans Series to further develop its endurance racing program. Despite the highly competitive nature of the series, the team consistently worked on performance and race strategy, achieving strong qualifying and race results throughout the season.
A real highlight came with the Michelin Le Mans Cup, especially during the prestigious “Road to Le Mans” weekend. At this event, Rinaldi Racing claimed both first and second place, marking a major sporting achievement and demonstrating the team’s capability in the internationally ACO-supported competition.
Rinaldi Racing also remained active in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, competing in the Bronze class with the Ferrari 296 GT3. Performances at various rounds showcased solid competitiveness and commitment in the fiercely contested international GT3 field, supported by an experienced driver lineup.
At the same time, Rinaldi Racing strengthened its presence in the Prototype Cup Germany series. Competing with LMP3 prototypes, the team delivered strong performances throughout the season, regularly contending for top positions and securing additional victories and podium finishes, further establishing its role as a leading team in the national prototype category.
The 12 Hours of Abu Dhabi offered another intense endurance challenge. Rinaldi Racing fought through the entire race, maintaining consistently fast lap times and adapting effectively to changing track conditions. Despite strong competition and challenging race circumstances, the team gained valuable experience and completed the event, providing important insights for the remainder of the season.
Beyond modern racing series, Rinaldi Racing also continued its involvement in historic motorsport. At the Endurance Racing Legends, including the Spa Classic, the team achieved podium finishes, demonstrating its versatility across all areas of motorsport.
Another arena of success in 2024 was the Porsche Sports Cup Swiss. Rinaldi Racing repeatedly secured top results, including victories at well-known circuits such as the Red Bull Ring, Imola, and Portimão, highlighting once again the team’s ability to compete at a high level across different car classes and championships.
Overall, 2024 was a year in which Rinaldi Racing expanded its sporting presence on multiple international stages, gained valuable experience, and delivered solid results across a variety of racing series.
