The 2025 season in the GT World Challenge Europe was a year of exciting challenges, valuable experiences, and significant progress for Rinaldi Racing in European GT racing. With the deployment of a Ferrari 296 GT3, the team competed in one of the strongest GT3 grids in the world, where experience, teamwork, and consistent performance over long-distance races are crucial.

The season began in the Bronze category with drivers Christian Hook, David Perel, and Davide Rigon at the rounds in Paul Ricard, Monza, and Spa-Francorchamps. At the 24 Hours of Spa, Felipe Fernandez Laser also joined the lineup. In all events, the team showed great commitment and demonstrated that both the car package and driver coordination were well-suited to the highly competitive field. The races provided not only sporting challenges but also valuable learning opportunities, which the team leveraged to continuously improve throughout the season.

From the Nürburgring onward, and at the season finale in Barcelona, Rinaldi Racing competed in the Silver category, with Rafael Duran, David Perel, and Fabrizio Crestani taking the wheel of the Ferrari 296 GT3. In this category, the team once again demonstrated professionalism and the cohesion between drivers, engineers, and crew. Consistent performance, strategic pit stops, and precise car setup were key factors that allowed the team to remain competitive in an exceptionally dense and challenging field.

Despite the intense competition, often featuring over 60 cars on the grid, Rinaldi Racing managed to deliver consistent race performances and gain valuable racing experience. The results collected over the season reflect not only the sporting commitment but also the strategic collaboration between drivers, engineers, and the crew in the pits.

The involvement of Ferrari factory driver Davide Rigon added further depth to the program. His experience from World Endurance Cup events and international GT racing brought valuable know-how to the team. Even though not every race resulted in a top finish, the squad remained resilient and focused throughout the season.

Overall, the 2025 season was an important step in the development of Rinaldi Racing’s GT programs: a year in which the team gathered crucial data, refined internal processes, and competed directly against some of Europe’s top GT3 teams – always intending to gain experience, improve performance, and foster team spirit.
