Throughout its history, Rinaldi Racing has worked with various racing teams and partners to create the best possible package for the respective racing series and races.
International collaboration: Rinaldi Racing x Kondo Racing
Rinaldi Racing is delighted to be working closely with the renowned Japanese team Kondo Racing. This partnership combines European engineering expertise with Japanese precision and enables the exchange of know-how at the highest level of motorsport. Together, we are pursuing the goal of combining and further developing technical innovation, teamwork and a passion for racing on the international stage.
A particular focus is on our joint involvement in Super GT with the Realize Corporation Kondo Racing team. Through this cooperation, Rinaldi Racing is bringing its many years of experience in GT racing to a new environment – supported by Realize, a strong partner from Japanese industry. This collaboration opens up exciting prospects for both sides, both on a technical and strategic level.
The international collaboration with Kondo Racing and Realize is a significant step for Rinaldi Racing – not only in terms of sport, but also as a bridge between Europe and Asia. It underlines our commitment to continuous development and taking on new challenges on the global stage. We are proud to be part of this project and to start the future together.
WTM by Rinaldi Racing
The collaboration with WTM Racing and owner Georg Weiss began in 2016 when he tested a Ferrari 488 GT3 for the first time and decided to enter various racing series with Rinaldi Racing and Ferrari in the coming years.
In addition to the VLN (now NLS), the 24H Nürburgring was also on the programme. Not only did we finish on the podium several times in the NLS (2018), we were also able to take first place in the ProAm class at the legendary 24H Nürburgring together with Wochenspiegel Team Monschau and did so twice (2017 & 2023).
We also competed in the 24H Series, where we took overall victory with the Ferrari 488 GT3 at the 24H Barcelona in 2022. In 2023, we shone with the Ferrari 296 GT3 and won the races at the 12H Estoril.
From 2022, we also contested the Michelin Le Mans Cup with a Duqueine LMP3 before switching to the European Le Mans Series in 2023, where we also won our first overall victory in the LMP3 class.
Frikadelli Racing
Together with Frikadelli Racing and Klaus Abbelen, we won the 24H Nürburgring in 2023 with the Ferrari 296 GT3. It was the first victory for a non-German brand in a long time.
Frikadelli Racing relied on our knowledge and expertise in the Ferrari GT3. It was a great co-operation and the result was overwhelming.
ST Racing with Rinaldi
For Samantha Tan Racing, we are entering the Ferrari 488 GT3 and the Ferrari 296 GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe in 2023. The 488 GT3 was used in the Endurance Cup Monza and Paul Ricard before we entered the 296 GT3 for Spa, Nürburgring and Barcelona.
A great project in which we were also able to celebrate the first pole for ST Racing and Rinaldi Racing in the ProAm class and the first victory in the ProAm class in Barcelona.
Iron Lynx
The 24H Le Mans is an absolute classic. After competing in 2021 with our Ferrari 488 GTE under Rinaldi Racing, we were able to compete in 2022 in collaboration with Iron Lynx under their name. After unfortunately dropping out the year before, we were able to finish the race in the Sarthe in 2022.
Van Ommen Racing by Datalab
In 2023, we entered two Duqueine LMP3s in the Prototype Cup Germany for Van Ommen Racing. In addition to the technical management, we were also responsible for the organisation.
We had a lot to celebrate: several victories and several podium finishes. In the end, we finished second in the team and driver championships.
