In the 2025 season, Rinaldi Racing competed with strong commitment in the Prototype Cup Germany, one of the most demanding LMP3 series in German motorsport. The team’s main focus was on Thomas Ambiel, who raced the Duqueine D08 for Rinaldi and impressed throughout the season with consistency, driving skill, and smart strategic decisions.

At Spa-Francorchamps, Ambiel clearly demonstrated the potential of both himself and the Rinaldi prototype. In changing weather conditions and after a bold switch to rain tyres, he not only secured victory in the Trophy classification in the second race but also claimed overall victory – an outstanding success for the team.

As the season progressed, Thomas Ambiel continued to deliver solid performances, collecting important points in his class. He quickly established himself as the leading driver in the Trophy standings of the Prototype Cup Germany. At the Nürburgring, he ultimately secured the overall Trophy title, crowning his debut season in the German LMP3 series with a championship – an achievement that both driver and team can look back on with pride.

Throughout the entire season, Rinaldi Racing, with Ambiel behind the wheel, demonstrated that technical reliability, strategic tyre choices, and strong teamwork are key factors in succeeding within a highly competitive field.
